Mornings are devoted to learning traditional fiddle styles and tunes with an emphasis on learning by ear. Classes are conducted in small groups according to playing experience. Related dance, theory and percussion will be introduced and there will be opportunities to try out other instruments including mandolin, guitar, and Irish drum. Musical activities will also include informal jamming, playing for dancing, and a participants' concert on the last evening.
